THIS IS ME!!
This is me, Elijah. I am 5 months old. I was born the day before Thanksgiving so my Mommy missed out on her Thanksgiving dinner. But I was born on my due date. I now weigh 13 lbs. and 10 ozs. I'm fussy a lot lately (Mommy says for the last 5 weeks) 'cause I'm getting a bunch of teeth in. Mommy says she can see most of them under my gums now. I hope they get here soon. They sure do hurt.

My big brother, John Jay takes good care of me. His birthday is soon and I'm hoping Mommy will let me have a bite of cake while it is fresh, not several hours old and in liquid form. I bet it tastes a lot better than that ole applesauce Mommy is always feeding me!
Look at what I can do!
I can:

* roll over both ways

* eat my applesauce

* sit up if I'm surrounded my pillows

* drink from a cup (I'm real proud of this one.)

* pretend to drink from a straw (just like Mommy and Daddy)

What I Love To Do
I love to bounce in my jump-seat that hangs in the doorway.
I love to blow rasberries.

I love to eat Daddy's Magic cards.

I love to play with paper and hear it crinkle. I even try to read Mommy and Daddy's magazines. (They are especially fun for tearing up.)

I love to play with everybody's hair.

I love to play with my big brother. I try to grab him or his hair when he sits next to me. Sometimes he squishes me, though, especially with those great hugs.
